Man that bit looks nice! Wish I had a @shapeoko so that I could buy one! Hahaha Great work Nate!

  2. ultimate.maker says:

@penaltyboxwoodshop just keep doing your Viral epoxy pours and Iโ€™m sure youโ€™ll be able to get one soon๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘Š

  3. reescarpentry says:

    This soothes my ocd

  4. ultimate.maker says:

@reescarpentry Hahahaha thatโ€™s a good way to put it

  5. bass_4_reel says:

Looks great! I normally start with the the v-cutter. Then follow with a down cutter to avoid all the frayed material. This will also extended the life of your 1/4 bit or what ever you choose to use since you will have less material to cut threw. Using the down cut will pack chip load and avoid your product from moving when not using a vacuum table.

  6. ultimate.maker says:

@bass_4_reel Thanks again Matthew ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™ I am taking screen shots of all these great tips!! Thatโ€™s a brilliant idea!

  7. bass_4_reel says:

@ultimate.maker. If your start to do smaller lettering. Another quick easy thing to do is lightly spray. The bottom of your stock with 3m 77 spray glue. Never spray the spoil Board. . Let it dry for 2 mins or so...Makes it slightly tacky to hold on the MDF spoil board better. Easy to do a light sand on back of lettering after your cuts are complete.

  8. ultimate.maker says:

@bass_4_reel another great idea!!! Iโ€™ve been fussing with double sided tape ๐Ÿ‘Š

  9. getoffthecouch_design says:

So nice seeing it clean up all that tear out. Man is that pretty

  10. bass_4_reel says:

@ultimate.maker the tape works but creates negitive supported areas that can create chip at the bottom of your material. Since your full piece of stock is not resting completely flat on the MDF surface. I would only use the double stick tape if I'm doing one side work on the stock material and not cutting all the way threw.

  11. molsen808 says:

I just ordered a shapoko xxl.. and this looks magical..

  12. ultimate.maker says:

    @getoffthecouch_design Thanks Scott ๐Ÿ‘Š

  13. ultimate.maker says:

@molsen808 Your going to love it!!! Feel free to send me a dm if you have any questions with it at all. Definitely go check out @toolstoday for your bits! I bought the cheap imported bits off Amazon at first, but theyโ€™re like trying to cut a loaf of bread with a 2x4.

  14. ultimate.maker says:

@molsen808 The Amana bits cut like a hot knife through butter ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘Œ

  15. nihalshahdesigns says:

Wow it cleans it up really nice

  16. ingenerum says:

@ultimate.maker how were you holding the already cut parts down in this video? Were you using a vacuum table or maybe the parts were not already cut all the way through? @bass_4_reel

  17. ultimate.maker says:

@ingenerum they were cut all the way through except for little 3mm tabs every few inches

  18. ultimate.maker says:

@ingenerum look at the video I posted yesterday and youโ€™ll see me cutting the tabs off of a finished piece

  19. ingenerum says:

@ultimate.maker cool! Which software did you use to generate the tabs? iโ€™ve never found the way to do this automatically... ๐Ÿ‘

  20. ultimate.maker says:

    @ingenerum I used Aspire 9.0

  21. ultimate.maker says:

@ingenerum you can also do it in CarbideCreate which is free

  22. bass_4_reel says:

@ingenerum If you do not have that tool in your software. It is easily done by creating a box the size of the tab you would like. Copy and past it at the locations on your project. Trim and Merge your line segments. This will creat a tool lift over the areas you want your tabs to be.

  23. ingenerum says:

@ultimate.maker CarbideCreate seems a great piece of software for free... I will definitely give it a shot, thanks for the tip ๐Ÿ™Œ

  24. ultimate.maker says:

@bass_4_reel you should change your name to CNC_GURU_4REEL lol.

  25. bass_4_reel says:

@ultimate.maker the name just matches my fishing page on Facebook. Did not want to have to make another account for cnc work..lol thanks buddy ๐Ÿ˜‚

  26. the_winter_palace says:
